Using SpacebarSpeed

These terms apply to your use of spacebarspeed.com. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.

What the service provides

SpacebarSpeed provides free browser-based speed tests, counters, challenges, and keyboard event feedback for entertainment and personal practice. Features may change or become unavailable. No account or payment is required for the current game.

Responsible use

Use the site lawfully and avoid interfering with its operation, attempting unauthorized access, or using it to harm others. When comparing results with friends, use matching durations and input methods and be clear about any automation you use.

Play at a comfortable pace and take breaks. Stop if repeated pressing causes discomfort.

Results and saved scores

Results depend on your device, browser, input method, and timing. They are not certified records, medical assessments, or guarantees of typing or gaming ability. Keyboard feedback cannot confirm or rule out a hardware fault.

Scores are saved locally in your browser. They can be lost when you clear site data, change browsers or devices, or when browser storage is unavailable. We do not provide account-based backup or recovery.

Content and sharing

You may use the tests and share your own result summaries and downloaded result cards. These terms do not grant ownership of the website’s branding, code, or written content. Any separate license applicable to material continues to apply.

Availability and limitations

The website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a promise of uninterrupted access or error-free results. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses arising from unavailable service, inaccurate results, or lost browser data. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Privacy and external services

Our Privacy Policy explains browser storage and data handling. External services you choose for sharing are governed by their own terms.

Updates and questions

We may revise these terms as the service changes. The date above identifies the latest revision. Visit Contact Us with questions about the site or these terms.
