This policy describes the SpacebarSpeed website at spacebarspeed.com and the information used by its browser-based game.
Game data and browser storage
The game processes presses and their timing in your browser to calculate results. It stores personal bests, recent run summaries, top records, and daily challenge completion in local storage under spacebarspeed:v1. Your light or dark theme choice is stored under spacebarspeed-theme.
These records stay in that browser and are not uploaded by the game to a score server. No account, name, or email address is required to play. If browser storage is unavailable, scores may last only for the current page session.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
The current application does not set tracking cookies or include active third-party analytics or advertising scripts. Local storage is used for the game features and theme preference described above.
When you visit a website, its hosting infrastructure receives technical request information, such as your IP address, browser information, and requested URL, to deliver the page. Hosting providers may retain access or security logs according to their own configuration and policies.
Sharing results
Sharing is optional. Using the share or copy controls creates a result summary; downloading a result card saves an image to your device. Detailed keypress timestamps are not included in the shared summary. Any service you choose to share through handles that information under its own privacy policy.
Your choices
Use Clear saved scores in the My scores section to remove saved game records. To remove the theme preference as well, clear this website’s data in your browser settings. Browser data remains until you clear it, your browser removes it, or the application replaces it with updated records.
